I went to high school with Allison and was beyond thrilled when she chose me to do her wedding photography. She is marrying Paul who is such a nice, funny, sweet and thoughtful guy. They chose Portsmouth, New Hampshire for the backdrop of their engagement photos. This was the first time I’ve done a session in Portsmouth and I will absolutely be back. Around every corner, there is a cute side street, colorful store front, and water views. A+P will be getting married this August at a winery, and I’m so looking forward to capturing their big day!

A few years ago I photographed Sarah+Ryan’s beautiful Cape Cod wedding. I was so thrilled when Sarah contacted me again to photograph the newest addition to their family, adorable Grace. Gracie was a dream to photograph, she smiled throughout the entire session. With her big eyes and rosy cheeks, the camera loved her, as you will see in her photos she’s a beautiful baby.

Maggie+Zach | Paradisus Resort | Punta Cana, Dominican Republic

Maggie+Zach met and started dating while students at Endicott College. Both are beyond sweet, genuine, and a joy to be around. They also have two of the nicest families. Soon after getting engaged they knew they wanted to do a destination wedding and Punta Cana was the perfect spot. 45 of their closest friends and family made the trip south to see them tie the knot. The Paradisus is set on a beautiful white sandy beach, palm trees and tropical flowers and even flamingos can be found at this lovely resort. M+Z’s wedding day was amazing! Maggie got ready in gorgeous suite with her best friends, sisters, and mother. Laughter and excitement filled the room. The ceremony was picture perfect in the resort’s indoor/outdoor lobby. The reception was an absolute blast, fire works during their first dance, a crazy game of limbo, and some unforgettable dance moves all made the night one filled with great memories.

Vanessa+Duane | Barcelo Resort | Mayan Riviera, Mexico

Vanessa+Duane have known each other their whole lives, their mothers are best friends! They started dating shortly after high school and have been together ever since. They chose the Barcelo Resort in the Mayan Riviera for the location of their destination wedding and absolutely loved their choice. There wedding was not only an AMAZING day, but an great week. While talking to Vanessa one day on the beach, she mentioned that it was so nice to have a week to spend quality time with all her closest friends and family. Everyone spent the vacation together lounging on the beach, going on exciting excursions and sipping mojitos. The day of the wedding the sun was shinning, without a cloud in the sky. The said their vows overlooking the ocean on a private beach. It was a fantastic wedding and I can’t thank Vanessa+Duane enough for having me capture such and unforgettable day!

Lindsey+Raj | Four Seasons Hotel | Boston, Ma

Lindsey and Rajesh got married at the amazing Four Seasons, the weather was the kind that couples dream about for their wedding day. I arrived to Lindsey’s bridal suite mid-afternoon, the room was filled with happiness, excitement and pure joy. L+R choose the beautiful Governor’s Ballroom for their ceremony, bright colored flowers accented the cream colored room perfectly. Guests then gathered in the aujourd’hui space for a cocktail hour that over looked Boston’s Public Garden. When it was time for the reception to start, the DJ, Dahl Xpierence, got everyone on the dance floor with lively Bollywood tunes. The party was definitely one that the couple and their friends and family will never forget. A big thanks Sue K for doing a fabulous job 2nd shooting!

The little one is such a cutie! I photographed Breaker when he was only a few weeks old, so it was so wonderful to go back and do another session now that he is 4-months-old. It’s amazing how much babies change in such a short time.

Nikki+Joe | Boston’s Waterfront

I met Nikki+Joe yesterday on our spectacular city’s waterfront. With boats, interesting architecture and a unique sculpture, it served as a great spot for an engagement session. We couldn’t have asked for better weather, 70′s with a light breeze. They both were born and raised in Ohio but met when at Boston College in grad school, and have since planted roots on the East Coast. Nikki and Joe’s wedding is this June at the Omni Parker House. They are so excited to show their friends and family what a great city Boston is!

Joy+Tim | Dover, New Hampshire

I had so much fun shooting Joy+Tim’s engagement session in Dover, NH. I live in Boston and this happy couple lives up in New Hampshire so Dover was a half way point. This seacoast town was a great spot for photos. We decided to meet in downtown Dover, which is full of old mill buildings, character and fun colors. J+T met at their local Dunkin’ Donuts!! They decided to have a cup of coffee and ended up staying until DD’s closed. They’ve been together ever since that first meeting. Joy+Tim will tie the knot this fall at a small, intimate, rustic wedding and I can’t wait to capture every moment of their special day.

Beautiful Delaney is such a sweetie pie! Being only 13 days old, she loved being curled up like she spent the past nine months. It was such a treat when she opened her big blue eyes and looked around the room. This is Kate+Rob’s first child and they are absolutely thrilled. Thank you J family for a great session.

The Wedding | Part One | Getting Ready

The wedding has been planned, all the details are in order, and now it’s time to get ready for the big day. This part of the day is so much fun to photograph. The anticipation and excitement is at an all time high, the bride and her bridesmaids are all smiles, and the moment when the bride makes her big reveal is priceless. I love getting shots of all the details, the dress, the shoes, the jewlery, the flowers! It’s great to see all these pieces individually and then to see it all come together and how all the pieces fit into the big picture. Then it’s off to the ceremony where the bride and groom get the first glimpse of each other.
