These high school sweethearts had a beautiful wedding day. I started the day at Danielle’s parents house, where D was getting the finishing touches on her hair and make-up. Her bridesmaids looked on while chatting about the day and what was to come. Danielle’s sisters and mom helped her get into her amazing Melissa Sweet gown. Before she had her big reveal, Danielle opened a letter and gift from her soon-to-be-husband. The letter was so heartfelt and sweet. D read it aloud to her Mom and sisters, all shed a few happy tears. As the church doors opened and Danielle walked down the aisle, all eyes were on her, she was a picture perfect bride. The ceremony was very special, I couldn’t help but snap away when M+D snuck a look or smile at each other. The ceremony was followed by an outdoor cocktail hour overlooking the gorgeous grounds of the Renaissance Country Club. I had never been to this venue, but would love to shoot there again. It is absolutely stunning. The ballroom looked breath taking, decorated with elegant centerpieces by Tangerine Creations. The reception started with Mike+Danielle’s first dance, which was another special moment, after over 10 years together, they’ve been waiting for this dance for a long time. After that guests enjoyed a fabulous meal, good company, a candy bar, and dancing that keep the dance floor packed until the last song.
